The Madame Tussauds game evolved from general observations along one of the typical walking routes the Competition Council typically follows on the Las Vegas strip. Over the course of a few trips we noticed Madame Tussauds would change the sculpture near the entrance periodically. The statue would usually be related to someone currently in the news. One trip someone suggested betting $5 on who would be outside, everyone of course played, and someone won by being right. The game agreement was if no one guessed right the betting pool would be gambled on a single slot machine at the Venetian, usually resulting in the Venetian taking all. The Madam Tussauds game was retired due to being hard to police, and generally the statues haven’t been changing much lately. I’d guess Tiffany Haddish is still there.

Game Rules

As you head up the world’s steepest escalator toward Madame Tussauds at the Venetian everyone guesses whose statue is near the entrance. It’s best to establish a picking order among the participants before hitting the escalator as fisticuffs on the escalator is not a good way to determine who gets to pick first.
