It’s been a long time since DECAGONATHONians have visited The Tropicana for much more than a favorite slot machine and an espresso martini, and I seriously doubt any of us have ever described the place as Tiffany of anything. The Competition Council still isn’t convinced the music has actually stopped in the never-ending musical chairs game to determine the final landing spot for the A’s new stadium. But if it has, we’ll miss the Trop, even if we haven’t given her much love this century. The Las Vegas Review Journal has a nice eulogy for the old girl, grab a parrot glass full of fruity vodka drink and give it a read. Even if the A’s stadium is confirmed for the site, we’ll likely have one last chance to say goodbye during DECAGONATHON 23.
