DECAGONATHON 21 is more of a fable than a documented event. Record keeping was fast and loose, and the scraps of paper with records resembling game scores and winners were likely flushed down a toilet. All we know for certain is someone had an overall tally reasonable enough to crown the champion. And since no one has any new scars or unpaid Methodist Hospital bills, we can assume no one had enough to drink before the closing ceremonies to physically contest the results. No shanks were brandished, no one engaged in fisticuffs, no one demanded a dance-off with our champ.
